EBay Wishlist #3

These sorts of posts are quite easy to throw up but I really want to extend and show off some of my better finds that I've bid on during my time. However, my camera sucks and I'm currently using a Nokia C3-01, google it, I dare you. Photos are definitely not happening on that crappy thing. I upgrade in August so hopefully when I get a new iPhone outfits and such will start popping up on the blog. Furthermore, I have nowhere to shoot. Luckily my little sisters moving to her new flat in Botanic at the start of July and there are loads of pretty backgrounds there so at least that's one thing sorted, just gotta wait.
Anywho, here's another four things I've been watching on eBay recently. It's kind of a mixed bag this week, I've been sort of all over the place with work but anyway, here we go.

I've always wanted a tapestry like this to hang of my ceiling to make my room all the more cosy. I never got round to it of course but with moving maybe its time. Of course, it won't be for the same purpose, I don't think I could convince my boyfriend of that. However, with the heat in the summer (I got sun burnt yesterday!) one of these is a good thing to have when you have to kick your leg out of bed but don't want demons to get you. Its a nice cover and a nice throw and will look lovely in my flat in Leeds.

I've been wanting to get healthier for a long time and I've been slowly been making changes to my diet. Cutting out crisps, eating more fruit, sneaking vegetables into my cooking but I'm really going to crack down on it when I move. It's a bit difficult doing it at home because at times I'm making three different meals but once I've my own space, my own freezer and a few good recipes behind me I can begin to plan out meals and so on and lose some weight. This cookbook by the Hemsley sisters has been raved about and I've had a flick through and the recipes look insanely good. If I can master a couple of these including the loved courgetti, I think it'll be a good aid in the kitchen.

I can never have too many mugs and I don't have much to say on this apart from, its a decent size, it has a bloody unicorn on it and that makes me happy. If I was to have my morning tea in this every day it couldn't help but make the day a bit brighter.

I've been reading a lot more now that summers and my adult life has started and its a bit strange reading at my own pace. However, if now's not the time to pick up a success story then I don't know when that time is. I'm lost and Sophia Amoruso's tale from monotonous day job in health insurance to founder and CEO of Nasty Gal is amazing and proves that with determination and knowing when to break the rules anybody can make it. Things don't fall into people's laps and the world isn't an easy place and to see something like this which is so successful is encouraging. It's a lesson I will heed when I jump into the job market, that in the words of Tyler Durden I am not a 'beautiful and unique snowflake' but I'll damn well show what I've got.
