Rachatron Meets World

Hello, I’m Rachel of these lovely blog and as the first post, I thought I’d introduce myself. A soon to be graduate of English literature this blog is a kind of project for my last summer before the real world finally hits me. It gives my days off something productive to do rather than binge out on Netflix for twelve hours. That’s for bed! Plus I like writing (hence English degree doy!) and might as well do something for the old CV. Anyway, this is to be a form of therapy as I try to understand what my next steps are. 2 things I’m certain of (isn’t that a line in Twilight?) the dreaded night shift is my main source of income over summer, I’m upping sticks from Belfast to Leeds in September and that I’m really not a fully formed adult but is anybody really?

I’m 21, obsessed with eBay, polka dots, soap and glory and an adventure time addict. I’m really not ready to delve into the real world but I’ll damn well give it a good go. Even if this blog recounts every mistake I make during the process, at least it’ll be a good laugh for everyone including possible employers.
