Everybody loves a cookie, it is one of the greatest things to come out of baking however, if you bake like a human its going to be indulgent and this is exactly what this cookie recipe is. These cookies are awful for indulgence but damn are they good. They have about a
gazillion calories in each one but at least it’s homemade, right? Anyway, enjoy
this heavenly recipe but do it in moderation or prepare to hit the gym A LOT.
Ingredients:
½ mug brown sugar
½ mug caster sugar
25g butter
1 egg
tsp of vanilla extract
1 ½ mugs of self-raising flour
200g of chocolate (or less, your choice)
A splash of milk
2 tbsps of chocolate drinking powder (optional)
Directions
1. Make sure your butter is room temp and if not heat it in the microwave for a few seconds until soft. Then cream the butter in sugar.
2. Add vanilla extract and whisk. Add egg and whisk.
3. Cut up the chocolate. I like to do ½ in chunks and ½ cut up. Add to mixture and stir with wooden spoon.
4. Add self-raising flour and chocolate drinking powder a small bit at a time mixing it thoroughly on each turn. Continue this until all of the flour is mixed in. At this point, the mixture should hold to together. If it’s too crumbly, add a splash of milk. If it’s too wet, add a little flour.
5. Shape into balls and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and press down.
6. Put in oven for 11 minutes at 180 degrees.
7. Take out and leave for half an hour, as they’re still cooking.
8. Enjoy!
